I have had many fellow bloggers ask why Betsy was career changed, and the answer is, I'm not really sure. I didn't get to talk to my CFR because she is on vacation. I actually wasn't even home when GDB called, I was running in a cross country race. My mom talked to a guy from GDB who said the "official" reason she was released was for fear of people in (and) public places. The guy also said that Betsy never really adjusted to living in the kennels. She was always very stressed and almost depressed while she was there. He said there was an especially long report written about her. I can't wait to get the report and see what they have to say about my special little girl!

Please tell me you meant PUBLIC places. ;)
Sometimes the dog knows where it wants to be. Obviously she didn't want to be up at GDB. It's what I love about the organization. If the dog isn't happy, then they don't make them work. :)
Oh my, I definitely meant public! I guess that's what I get for not proof reading my posts!
I love GDB. They make the best decisions when it comes to their dogs! I can't wait to get Betsy back to her familiar home. I guess she's just one of those dogs who doesn't like to step out of her little box!
Poor little girl. She was scared and just wanted to come home! Thanks for telling us what happened. I bet she can't wait to get home to you.
Reyna acted very sad and depressed when I put her in the kennel at recall. It was really sad and I have never seen a dog react that way at recall. I thought maybe she wouldn't adjust to kennel life. But then the next day I got a report that she was really well adjusted :)
totally understand the kennel thing. Waffle had the same issue, that was one of the reason why we decided to keep her bc we were not sure she would have adapted well to someone else. That and I LOVE her to pieces, enjoy your girl.
Any news! I can't wait til you get to see your girl again!
