Bye, Bye Colorado

Hello GDB!
It took some last minute scheduling changes, but on February 12th, my parents and I fly out to California! I am really excited! But I am also nervous for the speech...if anyone has any suggestions on what I should say please let me know!
Thanks for all your support! I am hoping to catch up on blogs soon!

Yippy!! SO glad you get to come (I was kinda teary hearing you might not get to come!)

Graduation speeches... Keep it under 4 minutes and BE POSITIVE!! No one wants to hear stories of eating socks or being bad - especially not a brand new partner that is still working on the relationship! I go to graduation over and over and cringe at the things people say!

Any touching stories while you were together? What did raising Gabrina mean to you?? How did she change your life? What did Gabrina teach you?

Those are things I think about when thinking about graduation.

BRING KLEENEX!! Lots and lots of it! ;)

That is so exciting! You will get to meet Kelsey and Emily (I don't know if you read their blogs) but Burgess is graduating on Feb. 13 as well! Aww I wish I could go now, but it is a 4 hour drive!

I'm so happy to hear that you get to go to graduation! It's an amazingly special thing that no puppy raiser should have to miss out on. Don't worry about your speech. It doesn't even have to be a "speech." If you only want to say good luck and share one little story, that still makes people cry. I've attended three of my 5 puppies' graduations and loved every minute of it. I can't wait to read all about your experience!!
