I uploaded a bunch (obviously when I went on my posting rampage) :) and didn't have a problem. Have you tried uploading them to a separate account (like Flickr) and linking them in? (I know it's annoying...) :/
My account did that for awhile, I had to upload them to photobucket and add the link instead of uploading them straight to blogger! Not fun but at least you can add pics! (If it works...)

I'm not having any trouble. In fact they're uploading a lot quicker here then they did at home. I don't know what to tell you. :(
Weird...are you over your limit in your picasa account? You could try Flickr or Photobucket or just uploading straight to Picasa. Not had any trouble
